A returning client of ours in the freight/logistics industry is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant for their team due to an increase in workload.Looking for an all round Finance Assistant with relevant experience and good grounding in Sales and Purchase ledgers and the ability to assist in other areas when necessary.Excellent company benefits including company pension, medical insurance, and life insurance cover after a satisfactory probation period. We also offer a free staff gym and changing facilities on site along with free parking. Possible hybrid working of 3days office based and 2 days remote. Ideally need to be a driver and local candidate.Key responsibilities include: Setting up new sales and purchase ledger accounts Credit control duties Process credit card receipts Posting purchase invoices to ledgers, in multiple currencies Reconciling supplier statements Dealing with purchase ledger queries Bank reconciliations Allocating ledger receipts and payments General assistance within the finance department as requiredKey Skills required:Good communicator and well organised individual.
