Job Description

Absolute Executive Search are partnered with a well established and growing Accountancy Firm who are looking for an Audit Manager to join their team based near Heathrow.This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who wants to take the next step in their career in a growing and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:-

  • Management of a portfolio of clients.
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements under FRS102 and IFRS.
  • Completing audits with minimal supervision and within deadlines.
  • Management and development of more junior members of the team.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients as well as new clients.
  • Identify business development opportunities with existing clients.
  • Maintain a good level of technical knowledge.
Key Requirements:-
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Good working background in an accountancy practice and working in an Audit focused role.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to manage complicated projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and can prioritise tasks.
  • Strong technical understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
  • Good experience in leading group audits and the preparation of consolidated accounts.
  • Previous use of CaseWare or Mercia methodologies is desirable.
  • Able to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Produces high quality work to a good technical standard.
