Job Description

Kameo Recruitment is exclusively recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join a dynamic and exciting Construction company, based in Edmonton, where you will be working across roofing projects, generally across the London area (some travel further afield maybe required), for Tier 1 Main Contractors. Potential candidates need to be strong on Project Management and Commercial processes, ideally with experience of JCT Contracts and/or NEC Contracts. Along with this, you will be required to be proficient in being able to produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Assessments. This is a great opportunity and one not to be missed.Duties & Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager:

  • Overall responsibility for the management of a team of Site Managers within Waterproofing, whilst ensuring that the Commercial & Design support functions are managed within the team
  • Undertake a full and ongoing review of all Commercial and Operational Performance
  • Ensuring programme (contract and target) is progressed to time, quality, specification and budget in accordance with the company/division KPIs and client’s requirements
  • Ensure the appropriate production and application of procurement schedules to maximise financial and operational benefits from operating a "just in time" concept whilst ensuring no delays to production
  • Ensure that all contracts are delivered on time, within budget, safely and to the Clients requirements.
  • Report regularly and diligently to Senior Contract Manager or Head of Waterproofing on Business performance
  • Set up/arrange/attend tender handover, prestart and preconstruction meetings
  • Regular review of RAMS to ensure they are in place and approved on each project under your control.
  • Ensure method statements and risk assessments are in place prior to subcontract and labour works commencing on site
  • Supporting the Head of Waterproofing with the P&L for the team’s delivery
    • It would be an advantage if you are from a Sub-Contractor environment. This position requires enthusiasm, attention to detail and a positive approach to tasks.
