Job Description

Wintel Infrastructure EngineerFPSG are proudly working in partnership with a global financial organisation for their UK based office. The company are known for having an excellent culture and work life balance due to offering a remote role with fantastic benefits.Due to the fast growth of the business, we are looking add a Wintel Infrastructure Engineer to the team.You will have working experience within a multi cloud environment from onprem, MS365, Azure and various 3rd party services.The Role:

  • Working knowledge of OS, system management, monitoring and backups.
  • Experience with Security configuration.
  • Platform administration.
  • Automation scripting and app tech stacks.
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance and support of infrastructure, applications and systems.
  • Coordinate with internal and external service providers to resolve incidents and problems.
  • Develop and extend system management and monitoring solutions.
  • Orchestrate changes to infrastructure and systems.
  • Drive innovation through cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
Skills:
  • Microsoft Server & Desktop technologies, Group Policy/Intune MDM.
  • M365/Azure Services, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams.
  • VMware Data Centre Virtualisation, vSphere ESXi, vCenter, SRM.
  • Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam One, Veeam Backup for O365 and Veeam Availability Orchestrator.
  • NET Framework, Java.
  • IIS, Apache, Tomcat.
  • Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prioritise work efficiently and effectively.
