Job Description

Head Resourcing are recruiting for a consultant on behalf of a non for profit company based in Edinburgh or Inverness. Theyre a charity who provide services and advice to help homeowners and businesses make their properties more energy efficient. The Consultant will project manage a variety of jobs, maintaining strong client relationships, allocating responsibilities to team members, ensuring project excellence, and managing projects to achieve aims on time and within budget. They will produce technicalspecifications for heat and power projects, write reports with clear conclusions and recommendations, and stay informed on energy sector trends to provide strategic insight. This is a great opportunity to work for a company that are aiding Scotlands transition to net-zero and provide invaluable insight to companies and individuals alike. Essential Skills:

  • Strong project management skills across varying scales and complexities.
  • Excellent client relationship management abilities.
  • Leadership skills to allocate responsibilities and oversee team work.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of project deliverables.
  • Proficiency in producing technical specifications and clear, accurate reports.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy systems, market trends, technologies, and finance structures.
  • Strong networking abilities to develop and maintain sectoral contacts.
  • Capability to identify and pursue new work opportunities and funding sources.
  • Strategic insight to inform organizational direction in the low carbon energy transition.
  • Some business development skills would be great but are not essential
Benefits:
  • A salary of £35,637 - £38,819
  • 8% employer pension contribution.
  • Hybrid working model (home and office) in Edinburgh or Inverness. Two days in the office are required, 1 on Tuesday and the other is at the discretion of the individual.
  • The role is 35 hours a week and offers a holiday allowance of 26 days per annum plus 9 public holidays.
