About the RoleNEW STORE OPENING! BURGER KING - EDINBURGH WAVELERY STATIONwe have some exciting news! Are you looking for the next step in your career, join our crew at the new opening at Burger King in the heart of Scotland.As a team leader, you will work a variety of shifts between 6am - Midnight. We have new pay rates where you will earn £11.85 per hour plus amazing benefits.Well, a fun fact about SSP UK is that we own Burger King, Starbucks, M&S Simply Food, Camden Food Co and Factory Restaurant & Bar and more. You can find SSP in major travel locations such as airports and train stations.Responsibilities for Team Leader:

  • Leads the shift and motivates the team to drive sales
  • Follows opening, closing & shift changeover procedures ensuring effective handover
  • Ensures the cleaning schedules are followed with all cleaning monitored & allocated fairly
  • Following Health & Safety/Food Safety/Statutory requirements and report to Line Manager if required
  • Trains the team on brand standards
  • Ensures cash procedures followed by all staff
Requirements for Team Leader:
  • Many of our units sell alcohol - You must be at least 18 years of age or older to be eligible to serve and comply with licensing legislation.
  • Lone working
  • Team Leader/Supervisor experience within retail or hospitality sector
