Our Tax Return Specialist will work with our many hundreds of personal tax clients - whether they are a director of a limited company, self employed or earn more than £100,000.We file in the region of 1,000 tax returns a year - and that figure is increasing. As a result we need a dedicated Tax Return Specialist to do three things in our business:First and foremost our Tax Return Specialist will work with clients to produce their tax returns. They will review records provided, ask questions either directly of the client or via one of our Client Managers - to ensure that we understand whats needed to complete the returns and making sure they are signed off.We have a huge variety of clients who do differnet things, need different levels of support and even provide records in different ways. Our Tax Return Specialist will be able to work with all our clients...Secondly, our Tax Return Specialist will provide help and support to to other team members who complete tax returns during our busy tax return period (which to be honest is most of the time). Our Tax Return Specialist will check their colleagues work and provide structured feedback to ensure accuracy of tax returns that are delivered to our clients. We use technology a lot in our business both in terms of gathering information from clients and the way we deliver their tax returns to them. The successful candidate will be comfortable using tech to complete their work and be adaptable to new systems as we bring them on board. Our Tax Returns Specialist will be working closely with clients - communicating by email, telephone and face to face. As such they will have excellent customer service skills. They will also work closely with colleagues to make sure we deliver all our tax returns on time. The successful candidate will more than likely currently be working in practice in personal tax and be looking to expand their role into provoding support and feedback as well as completing returns.Becasue we have so many returns to file we take a very structured approach to setting and making sure targets are achieved. This a target focussed role. Required skills
