Job Description

Role:Solicitor - ConveyancingLocation: EdinburghSalary:£36,000-£70,000 DOEPertemps are recruiting a ConveyancingSolicitorto work with our Edinburgh based client.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the conveyancing process for residential and commercial properties in compliance with Scottish law.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and due diligence on properties.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and other pertinent paperwork in accordance with regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
  • Provide expert legal advice on property matters within the legal framework.
  • Address and resolve legal issues or disputes arising during the conveyancing process.
  • Stay abreast of changes in property and conveyancing laws specific to Scotland.
About You:
  • Qualified solicitor
  • Proven experience in conveyancing, with a focus on residential and commercial transactions in Scotland.
  • Thorough understanding of property and conveyancing laws specific to Scotland.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Client-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in using relevant legal software and tools.
