  • Produce software component designs and specifications.
  • Test software components.
  • Unit, link and integration test plans and test results.
  • Create test data and testing environments
  • Produce system documentation.
  • Project estimates
  • Implement change control procedures.
  • Software configuration management processes for deliverables.
  • Audits
    • Essential Experience
  • Apex 19 (but at least v5)
  • Experience with Oracle 19 (but at least 12c and above)
  • GitHub
  • JIRA
  • Jenkins/Flyway
  • Associated software engineering tools, techniques, methods
  • Experience of working as a Senior Software Engineer on large or complex software engineering programmes/ projects.
  • Project/ team leadership of a software development team.
  • Product Evaluation
  • Detailed system design
  • Define hardware/ softwareperformance and specify requirements
  • Create/ BuildSoftware Design software component
  • Manage / Conduct testing.
  • Prepare implementation, conversion and cutover plans
  • Install systems
  • Create user and operational documentation
    • Desirable Skills:
  • UNIX – Solaris/WebLogic
  • SOAP and Web service experience
  • Automated unit test experience (e.g. UT-PLSQL)
  • Government sector knowledge
