Job Description

A business that has beendescribed as home by existing employees, we drive a culture that is founded on positive change and development.The Opportunity:As we look to build capability within our transformation function, we are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to come and join our team. This role will see you manage the end to end delivery across a series of work streams which need to be coordinatedto bring about the desired transformation outcomes for our clients.Youll be:

  • Responsibility for delivery of multiple projects or a programme, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, to scope.
  • Creates and implements robust programme planning reporting and control processes, in line with FPLC
  • Integrate work-streams and manage cross-business interdependencies to ensure co-ordinated delivery
  • Identify financial and operating risks and issues affecting the programme and the business, putting appropriate measures in place to effectively manage and control
  • Manage interfaces with external stakeholders (business partners, regulators etc.) in order to ensure full integration of solutions
  • Overall responsibility for the development and agreement of budget and expenditure associated with major strategic programmes of change, ensuring that costs are contained within agreed levels and that the benefits are realised.
  • Lead, manage & motivate large, diverse teams and other resources and train such staff as may be assigned or seconded to work on the programme, including personal development and mentoring of colleagues at more junior levels.
  • Responsible for chairing governance boards and championing governance processes

  • Have previous experience with proven track record of delivery in major projects and programmes
  • Enjoy the confidence of senior management.
  • Have a strong understanding of leading-edge programme management, methodology and best practice.
  • Have an ability to lead large, diverse teams
  • Are able to manage high-level stakeholder relationships
  • Have a strong ability to manage substantial resources (financial, human, technological etc.)
  • Advanced planning and organisational skills
  • High impact influencer and negotiator
  • Expert in Project management disciplines
