Job Description

As an experienced Senior Geologist, youre ready for more than stop-start consultancy work or being a bit-part player within a large business. Youre looking for ownership and empowerment.   • At least five years of experience in 3D digital modelling
  • Chartershipor working towards this
  • Competency in assessing reserves and resources, and preparing reports
  • Working knowledge of Part 6 of The Quarries Regulations and compliance processes

  • Providing day-to-day advice to the Quarry Manager on mineral quality and reserve and resource estimates
  • Close liaison with regional managers on life mineral quantities
  • Assessing how much life the quarry has
  • Designing and budgeting for excavations
  • Managing and developing the mineral portfolio
  • Liaising with the planning teams
  • Optimising existing quarry sites and building quarry development plans
