Job Description

This is an ideal opportunity for SAS Developer who will be responsible for engaging business analysts to understand data and reporting requirements to support business needs. This person will provide data support for end-user analytics and business intelligence,report definitions and designs, data validation testing and data management. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong Business Intelligence and Data Analyst skills coupled with advanced SAS experience.You will be responsible for data analysis, business analytics, data standardisation and management, data warehousing requirements, application data requirements, report design, development and testing of business requirements.The rate on offer is £430-£475 per day depending on experience on a 6 month contract which is likely to be extended. You would be required to work Monday to Friday from 9am5:30pm on a remote basis. This role would also be working remotely but may occasionallyrequire you to visit one of our offices in the future.As a SAS Developer joining this project you will:

• Delivery of further data-led assurance across the critical processes in the clients Retail division
• Design criteria to assess accuracy of Retails systems and processes using data inputs and outputs.
• The criteria will emulate accurate execution of processes and compare with actual execution
• Building Calculation models to determine the redresspay out for each type of treatments
• Identify and evaluate complex expertise-led data solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Processing the files and keeping an audit trail of the activities
• Building MI dashboards

To be considered for the role of SAS Developer you will possess the following attributes and abilities:

• Coding expertise is essential(Teradata/SQL/SAS).
• Knowledge and experience in manipulation of data and information to build practical insight that is conveyed in a compelling story (verbally, visually and written).
• Identifies and evaluates complex expertise-led data solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Ensure that test development is in line with internal expectations, which incorporates the robust validation of builds prior to launching assurance.
• Extensive interaction required in developing test criteria, detailing issues, and interpreting output
• Knowledge and experience in manipulation of data and information to build practical insight that is conveyed in a compelling story (verbally, visually and written).
• Identifies and evaluates complex expertise-led data solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
• The communication and relationship skills to work successfully with a variety of technical and non-technical colleagues, including senior business leaders.
• Experience of design and production of management information reports.
• Experience working on visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau (good to have but not essential)
• Beneficialto have prior experience in financial domain (banking preferred)
• Good analytical skills and quick learner
