Job Description

Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) is the worlds leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. We deliver award-winning solutions to over 65 outsourcing clients and consulting services to hundreds more. Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources.Our client is a well Known Corporate and Institutional banking organisation with headquarters in Central London and several other global locations; Providing Finance and Risk Solutions as well as Trading and Flow Sales to global financial institutions, investors, counterparties and corporate customers on a day to day basis.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a PMO Manager for a 3 Month contract, this will be based Remotely.Purpose of the Role:This role works in the Programmes Team, its purpose is to look after the Milestone Management, Reporting, Dependency Management, Risk and Issue Management, and Financial Co-ordination/Planning of the aligned Project.As a PMO you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring of complex change delivery plans, including proactive tracking of key milestones, reporting, dependencies, risk management and ensuring resource demand is accurate and raised in a timely manner
  • Working closely with the Managers within the squad, youll be responsible for monitoring the complex change initiatives through to delivery, making recommendations and influencing positive outcomes to ensure key objectives are achieved.
  • Youll have extensive experience of working within a Programme Management Office on complex, cross functional change initiatives preferably within financial services, working collaboratively with our partners and stakeholders, giving confidence in our delivery and reporting against plans.
  • Youll be responsible for implementing governance control in line with Frameworks
  • You will have great exposure and build strong working relationships with Strategic Partners, be committed to meeting deadlines and be comfortable operating in a delivery focused environment satisfying the requirements of a wide customer base.

  • A Proven track record as a PMO
  • Financial Services Industry Experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Project Planning and Project Management toolsets
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of tracking Milestone Management, Reporting, Dependency Management, Risk and Issue Management, Financial Co-ordination/Planning
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience using Fieldglass, Planview would be beneficial but not essential
