Job Description

The Payroll Specialist will work closely with the Head of People and the global head office to ensure the smooth integration of Ceridien/Dayforce HCM for payroll activity across the UK entity and Czech RepublicPayroll Specialist Responsibilities:- Take responsibility for all UK payroll processing activities via Ceridien/Dayforce HCM ensuring a seamless and fully compliant payrolled process to the business.- Engage with outsourced provider on queries and information.- Implement Ceridien/Dayforce HCM for the payroll of the Czech Republic entity ensuring all complexities are captured and processed correctly.- Act as the project lead for the payroll project and be the go-to for all payroll related queries across the UK and Czech Republic Entities.Payroll Specialist Skills:- Previous working experience as a Payroll Specialist working as part of transformation or implementation projects- Previous experience of processing Czech Republic payroll and possess a good working knowledge of the complexities involved with payroll compliance- Hands-on experience with Ceridien/Dayforce HCM is advantageous- In-depth knowledge of payroll principles and payroll best practices- Excellent organisational and time management skills- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to unpick errors and resolve- Excellent stakeholder management skillsThis is a remote working opportunity, applicants can be based anywhere in the UK, whilst the UK HO is in Edinburgh. This is a 6 month contract which can be either on a fixed term basis or on a contract basis.
