Job Description

This is where to achieve more from your career, by proudly building Britains future heritage with us.The Package Engineer roleAs a member of the project team, reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, coordination and management of a number of sub-contractors employed in a variety of trades within the respective area of works; opportunitiesinclude Facades, Civils (Drainage) and Procurement.The role requires a high level of interfacing between internal departments and external agencies, such as Architects, Engineers, Construction Workers, Sub-contractors, Client agents, Clerk of Works and Site Staff. Coordination and management of sub-contractors.Ensure SRM obligations to sub-contractor are understood and discharged.Youll also organise and conduct regular site progress meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress, quality and safety, ensuring the Chief Engineer and Project Manager/Project Director are updated on all issuesYour profile

  • Degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field
  • Ability to prepare a 3 week look-ahead programme with assistance of project planner
  • Proven working experience in package management (ideally with exposure to several packages)
  • Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
