Job Description

The Role: The role of Operation manager will deliver digital and propositional enhancements to help the Platform and Retail Sales teams achieve their sales targets, provide AX (Adviser Experience) improvements to our Adviser community and be the representative of UKDistribution across corporate projects. We are looking for the candidate to ensure all Distribution requirements are met from projects and will ensure enhancements are taken to market in the most efficient and optimal way. With a predominant focus on Platformthe role is designed to ensure effective collaboration across channels, improve AX and maximise growth opportunities. You will be part of the wider Distribution Operations team that supports the UK Platform and UK Retail Distribution Sales teams. Distribution Operations deliver operational improvements that drive growth in sales the intermediated On and Off Platform distributionchannels and a big part of the role will ensure the other Operations team are both aware and involved in updating their objectives and deliverables linked to the Take To Market initiatives you are involved in. Key Responsibilities for this Role :

  • Ensure all major propositional and AX projects are delivered effectively across our Platform and Off Platform Sales teams and be responsible for all Take to Market tasks.
  • Be the Voice of Distribution on key Platform Project groups and ensure Platform Distribution requirements are delivered and AX improvements and Sales growth are all clearly articulated in Business Cases.
  • Ensure once projects are delivered that they are achieving the Distribution aims and goals set are being met.
  • Ensure AX, Digital and Growth related initiatives are prioritised appropriately in corporate runways.
  • Communicate with wider Distribution Operations area to make sure their processes and systems are updated as initiatives go live and are communicated.
  • Have productive lines of communication with Customer operations areas across the business including Platform Ops, Wealth ops and Diligenta etc to ensure they understand and are aligned to our Take to Market activity
  • Have strong working relationships with the Platform and Off Platform sales directors to understand their growth and sales objectives and be able to articulate these views back to the project teams.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Good understanding of the goals of UK Distribution
  • Strong knowledge of UK Platform market and understanding of where digital improvements can be made
  • An understanding of the UK Intermediated marketplace and a track record of delivering Adviser/Customer Experience improvements
  • Understand the needs and requirements of Platform and Off Platform Sales teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Sales Directors, Account Managers, Business Development Managers and external Stakeholders across projects.
  • Experience in delivering Take to Market messaging
