End Date Friday 10 November 2023 Salary Range £78,634 - £92,510 We support agile working – click here for more information on agile working options.Agile Working Options Hybrid Working Job Description Summary As below Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: ServiceNow Technical Lead - Service Transformation LabSALARY: £78,634–£92,510LOCATION(S): Edinburgh or LeedsHOURS: Full TimeWORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office siteAbout this opportunityWe’re (Modern Workplace Service Operations team) looking for a ServiceNow Technical Lead within the Service Transformation Lab, responsible for IT@LBG (the colleague-facing side of ServiceNow ITSM) and the associated colleague journeys and the Service Desksupport journeys.The delivery of colleague centric solutions is crucial as were laser-focussed on providing a compelling experience for every colleague.Working with the Head of Modern Workplace Service Operations, youll help to form the backlog of work, taking input from investment initiatives, internal service improvements and inbound work from other Platforms to deliver an ambitious and exciting ColleagueIT Support Strategy within the ServiceNow ITSM platform.What the role involves…

  • You’ll be responsible for requirements analysis, process/technical design and delivery of change aligned to the Colleague IT Support Strategy and Investment Management backed initiatives.
  • Mentoring the developer community as well as getting involved in the delivery of the more technical requirements.
  • You will work with LBG ServiceNow Centre of Excellence & innovation to collaborate and deliver a world class colleague IT user experience.
  • Management of four Feature Teams, rolling up their backlogs to yours
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Working with the Head of Function to set the vision for the team for 2024 and beyond!

  • Experience of leading teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies, driving forward a clear product vision; shape and manage product backlogs with a focus on achieving agreed outcomes and deliverables.
  • Highly experienced working with ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Employee Centre, Service Catalogue, Knowledge Management, Virtual Agent and Performance Analytics.
  • A proven track record of embracing what ServiceNow as a platform offers through family upgrades and building these enhancements into the product roadmap.
  • Significant experience of agile development within the ServiceNow platform. Ideally using ServiceNow SAFe (desirable)
  • Experience in implementing new processes/ways of working.
  • Experience working with technical and cross-functional teams to deliver change.
  • Experience tackling complex problems and breaking them out into a roadmap of viable solutions.
  • Experience of crafting a phenomenal team environment that attracts and retains talent.
  • Experience of financial planning and cost control: a track record of delivering within budget and using resources effectively
  • Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment up, down and across the organisation.
  • Strong on dependency management and effective resolution
