Job Description

Mobile Security Engineer - ContractWe have been providing financial support and guidance for over 100 years and we have recently received a huge investment to help us become the best at what we do. We are looking for a Mobile Security Engineer to come in and help us with the businesses transformationroad map.

  • Inside of IR35
  • £800-900 p/d
  • 6 months initially
  • Hybrid (Edinburgh office once a week)

Mobile Security Engineer responsibilities:
  • As a Mobile Security Engineer within the team you will be providing our customers with highly innovative digital products
  • You will be using customer focused design driven methods
  • You will be getting stuck in on the design and delivery of a top class security framework
  • You will get involved with different aspects of the development lifecycle including testing and obfuscation
  • You will be building a modern, agile and simplified fraud security architecture
  • You will be working to create a security experience which is coherent, high speed and progressive
Mobile Security Engineer requirements:You will be tasked with Identifying, reviewing and evaluating and potential risks and ultimately architecting, in line with banking policies and standards, the best solutions mitigate them. The right person in this instance will have excellent skills within.
  • Hands-on experience of Mobile Platform Security (threat models and mitigation techniques.
  • DevSecOps Tooling frameworks
  • Demonstrable problem solving experience, specifically within security.
  • Experience working on applications used by millions of users.
  • Commercial Pen testing experience (mobile specific)
