Job Description

The role will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are closely managed throughout the product lifecycle from initial order to being discontinued and that management information is made available to inform decision making that drives growth of thebrand and maintains efficiencyClient DetailsA leading player in their industryDescription

  • Manage 30-, 60- and 90-day forecasts to identify any lines at risk of going out of stock and recommend actions to prevent out of stock lines.
  • Monitor store sales and stock availability to ensure that stock is available to fulfil stores planograms and customer demand.
  • Ensure that suppliers are delivering within their agreed SLA and reporting any discrepancies to senior management and complete any relevant reports and documents.
  • Co-ordinate the product lifecycle of goods from initial launch to discontinued ensuring that all algorithms are working as planned to maximise store performance.
  • Manage stock levels of new stores to ensure that the relevant tiers are set up and stock available for launch.
  • Provide recommendations on stocking levels to senior management team and MDs.
  • Provide recommended orders to senior management team to ensure that stock levels are correct.
  • Work with IT suppliers to maximise system capability on replenishment for stores and online demand.
  • Work with warehouse to set up priority of goods to prevent out of stocks.
  • Provide adhoc support where needed to the warehouse team.
  • Drive margin initiatives through consolidated freight shipments and splitting air and sea accordingly to maximise intake margins.
  • Analyse sales and deal performance, identifying product trends and making recommendations on sales initiatives to drive sell through of poorly performing lines.
  • Liaise with E-Comm and recommend sales actions to drive sell through of discontinued products across all available digital platforms.
  • Moving excess stock back to warehouse, and slow-moving lines to fastest selling locations for optimal full price sell through and margin efficiency.
