Job Description

You will assist in the design and development of our clients SAAS platform. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will be responsible for liaising with internal stakeholders in order to understand client business requirements which will in turn allow youto design the best product possible; creating innovations, and upgrades in a robust manner.The successful candidate will blend exceptional programming skills with excellent communications, and strong business acumen. Data productisation is a key element of our clients offering over the next year, and so there are currently multiple vacanciesfor this expanding team.Role & Responsibilities:

  • Developing innovative SAAS product lines
  • Full Stack development projects
  • Implementing and contributing towards best practices in the areas of development (including secure coding), quality assurance, continuous integration, test automation and deployment
  • Code implementation and development techniques
  • Collaborating with our clients Product & Simulation Build teams to produce innovative & engaging user experiences throughout front-end development activities
The successful candidate will ideally have:3-5 years of experience in:
  • Java web application development experience to include Java8, MVC framework (JSF, JSP Spring or equivalent), ideally in a small to medium sized team where you are responsible for the Full Stack
  • Full Stack experience is essential, ideally in a small to medium sized business where developers work in a broad role
  • SQL technologies
  • Hibernate
  • Comfortable collaborating with internal business stakeholders
  • Experience shaping and guiding Java technical solutions
2+ years of experience desirable in:
  • Apache Tomcat, JavaScript, JQuery, Kanban, Scrum
Desirable:
  • Continuous integration experience (Jenkins or equivalent)
  • Experience with AWS in a commercial setting would be advantageous
