Job Description

Internal Quality Assurer - Hospitality Wales / Scotland £28,366 p.a. + benefitsThe RoleThe Internal Quality Assurer will work in the Hospitality & Catering sector, sampling qualifications and supporting the Regional Trainers to interpret / understand / apply the standards / assessment requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • conducting quality assurance activities of qualifications through on-going desktop verification
  • ensuring all awarding organisation standards/ polices/ processes are maintained
  • support Regional Trainers with assessment methodology remotely and face to face
  • produce sampling plans based on risk and follow / update these
  • upholding the quality of the qualification and maintain a clear audit trail of activity
  • producing verbal / written feedback to Regional Trainers
  • ensuring team use the most up to date resources including online platforms
  • ensuring compliance with all Estyn / SDS regulations & requirements

Experience in the Hospitality & Catering sector would be an advantage along with:
  • a positive approach to stakeholder management / ability to balance conflicting demands
  • ability to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
  • excellent accuracy / attention to detail / written & verbal communication skills
