Job Description

Information Security Consultant - IAMEdinburgh - Fully Remote6 Months£500 - £550p/dFantastic new contract opportunity for an experienced Information Security Consultant with this market leading financial services business based in Edinburgh. You will join an existing team of Information Security specialists, as a Senior Information Security Consultant. The team manages InfoSec for all UK business lines and UK office locations. Reporting into the Senior Information Security Manager this is a dynamic role within the team where you will support the delivery of identity management capabilities.The teams remit covers all aspects of Information Security across People, Process and Technology. You will be expected to work with key stakeholders across the business to ensure successful delivery.Main responsibilities:

  • Champion Identity and Access Management, especially with senior stakeholders
  • Ensure that the right information is asked for and in a format conducive to efficient delivery
  • Identify ways to develop the identity management processes
  • Ensure the Identity and Access Management implementation is aligned with InfoSec best practice
  • Work with the project manager in ensuring that the project delivers short-terms wins and remains aligned with the long term vision
  • Speak authoritatively on Identity and Access Management with other departments, both inside and out with IT
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project in relation to Information Security
    • Skills Required:
  • Information Security, including identity and access management and information security management
  • Good stakeholder management skills, with an ability to understand and communicate technical detail to a non-technical audience
  • Risk assessment/risk management skills
  • Identity management concepts (e.g. RBAC and role modelling), systems and associated processes (Joiner, Movers, Leavers, recertification and entitlement reviews)
  • Understanding of working in a Digital business and the impact on information security
  • Understanding of how to apply Information Security best practice to large scale enterprise environments
  • Experience with SailPoint (desirable)
