Job Description

Were currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Crime Consultant to join our Edinburgh office on an initial 6 month contract.Key Responsibilities

    • This is a Line 1 Financial Crime consultant role and you will report to the Line 1 Financial Crime Manager.
    • You will be required to provide consultancy support to strategic projects, to ensure there is an effective Financial Crime Framework and that the processes and controls meet the clients Financial Crime Prevention Policy and Risk Based Approach FinancialCrime minimum requirements.
    • Ability to work autonomously, analyse and understand policies and procedures and escalate where there are gaps to Line 1a and Line 2 Financial Crime stakeholders.
    • The candidate must have a strong Financial Crime background with at least 5 years continuous Financial Crime experience gained consulting with expertise across AML and at least on other of the following: Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing,Economic Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Fraud or Prevention of Tax Evasion.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks within tight deadlines.
    • The candidate must have AML or Financial Crime Qualifications, preferably at Diploma level or equivalent.
    • Life and pensions experience is preferable and experience of providing consultancy support to outsourcers and Wrap platform projects would be advantageous but not essential.
