Financial Controller | Luxury Hospitality Group | EdinburghHarmonic is extremely excited to be working exclusively with a start-up luxury hospitality group in their search for a Financial Controller to help facilitate the companys growth plans.The Business:The estate, boasting over 7,000 acres, is currently under refurbishment with a goal to being one of the leading hospitality ventures in the United Kingdom. The hands on owner is a successful fund manager and has raised £11 million since being assigned todevelop the estate. The plan for the estates development has been split into three phases, to refurbish and develop multiple sites for different styles of accommodation, a private members club and a luxury farm shop on the site (in the style of Soho Farmhouse).Based on the outskirts of Edinburgh, 20 minutes drive away from the city centre, the estate is home to stunning countryside views, with an aim to providing classic but modern accommodation for their guests. The owner has huge ambitions for the business andhas a commitment to environmental sustainability highlighted by their goal to become B Corp certified in the near future.The Role: The Financial Controller will be in charge of several revenue streams and therefore will need to understand the need for separate P&Ls for construction / refurb, retail and food and beverage. The role is a hybrid one, with a minimum of 2 days a week expectedto be in the office on site.
