A business that has been describedas home by existing employees, we drive a culture that is founded on positive change and development.The OpportunityWe have an exciting new permanent position available for a Finance Controls & Oversight Manager!Our Finance Operations function is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions within our clients organisation. The primary goal of this function is to process payments, receipts and distributions as well asidentify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records. This is important for maintaining the reliability of financial information, facilitating proper financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.This role sits within the high-profile Controls and Oversight Team which is responsible for Incident Management, Training, Procedures, Reporting, SLA Breach Oversight and Prevention, Audit Liaison and Change Liaison. The role holder also has managerial responsibilityfor the LBG Debt Recovery TeamYoull be:

• Direct line management of up to 6 employees, ensuring each individual is properly trained, managed and motivated to perform their role.
• Overseeing the operational effectiveness of the wider Finance Operational Departments systems and controls (Legacy & BaNCS), ensuring appropriate processes and controls are in place to prevent SLA breaches and maximise efficiency.
• Driving appropriate deep dives, root cause analysis and reviews to continually evolve and improve the control framework.
• Leading the Finance-element for any incidents; liaising with the wider teams to identify the root cause, delivering resolutions, and acting as an escalation point for issues and complex queries.
• Overseeing the Debt Recovery Team, ensuring they maximise the value of debt recovered in the most efficient way, ensuring that Management Information is appropriate, streamlined and fit for purpose, processes are properly controlled and performed on a timelybasis and full engagement and ownership is achieved.
