Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting for a dynamic Field Sales Account Manager to join their sales team. This role will be based covering Scotland and the North of England, coming south into Lancashire and across to Harrogate, North Yorkshire.To be a successful applicant for this position you will have previous experience selling into the hospitality industry, whether this would be selling cleaning equipment, catering equipment, or lighting and furnishing as an example. Our client isopen, but you will need to have that experience with hospitality sales to excel in this role.The Role

  • As an Account Manager you will be responsible for growing our market-share in the Hospitality and Residential segments in your assigned territory, building and maintaining relationships with local stakeholders (local management groups, developers, architects,design studios) in the industry
  • You will be developing sales strategies to ensure revenue and profit growth in the country, identifying key local hospitality groups and develop/implement account strategies to develop incremental business within your territory.
  • You will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, driving consumer leads and expanding our commercial business to scale our market-share.
  • This role is ideal for a committed sales account manager who has experience within the hospitality industry and who can think strategically, has a win mentality, uses their initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • The is responsible for growing direct sales in the assigned territory.
  • Value-oriented selling skills, strategic territory planning, effective and consistent CRM usage, cross-functional collaboration influencing, integrity and professionalism are essential competencies in daily performance of this role.
  • Completes detailed customer profiles and account plans where appropriate.
  • Becomes a trusted advisor to customers by using a value-oriented, solution-selling approach Delivers effective sales presentations, both formal and informal, to customer contacts at all levels.
  • Works closely with Customer Service to maintain high customer satisfaction and to help coordinate prompt and effective resolution of all product and service issues
The Person
  • Bachelors degree in Business with a concentration in Sales and Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of selling into a Hospitality sales environment.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions- focused approach.
  • Ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Develop strategies, action plans, and metrics to monitor results.
  • Customer Focus - solicits and uses feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Strives for quality and excellence.
  • Accountability - takes a no excuses approach to making things happen. Takes responsibility for own actions and results.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, or other CRM tools.
