Job Description

Factoring CoordinatorBased in Edinburgh£13.75 - £16.50 per hour + holiday payReed Business Support are delighted to be working with a leading Property Factoring organisation who are looking to recruit a Factoring Coordinator on a 3 months temporary basis with the possibility of extension. This will be a busy role involving elementsof general administration, factoring, and complaint handling so is well suited to someone with experience in the sector.

  • Hours: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)
  • Start in early January
  • Primarily office based
Key responsibilities:
  • Acting as a point of contact for escalated complaints related to Sheltered Housing facilities
  • Investigating complaints, ensuring that homeowners are kept informed throughout the process
  • Liaising with other parties to support with investigations
  • Drafting detailed responses to homeowners by post or email
  • Supporting Factoring Director template new policies and procedures
  • Arranging and attending meetings, taking down action points and notes where required
  • Ad hoc admin duties
Person specifications:
  • Previous experience working in a Factoring, Repairs, Housing, or New Homes role
  • Experience dealing with homeowners or tenants
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to investigate complaints
  • Good IT skills and the ability to adapt to new systems
  • Motivated individual with the ability to manage own workload
Desirable:
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Factoring Code of Conduct
