Job Description

From building the world’s first end to end hydrogen system, from turbine tip to burner in the home, to evidencing the suitability of our networkfor green gases, wherever, whenever, by 2026.We have an exciting new role for an Energy Futures graduate Project Officer, responsible for the support and delivery of the Energy Futures Network Innovation projects. The role will directly contribute to the development of knowledge, skills and understandingto help SGN and wider energy industry deliver the viable options for a Net Zero future.What will you be doing day to day

  • Support project delivery, coordinating timely provision of pertinent information
  • Draft reporting both internally and externally
  • Participate in and attend industry workgroups
  • Prepare regular updates on project progress
  • Maintain and monitor Project Plans and budgets
What you’ll needThe job holder will preferably be degree qualified or HND/HNC in a relevant discipline and hold a qualification in Higher English (or equivalent).We’re also looking for;
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the gas network/industry preferred
  • Good technical or engineering knowledge beneficial
  • Awareness of project management techniques beneficial
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Motivated individual
