Job Description

Business Analyst - Remote - 3 Month ContractOur Public Sector client are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join on a 3 month initial contract, inside IR35.The successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:

  • Experience of working with Public Sector (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of NHS organisation and systems (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of NHS standards, e.g., SNOMED-CT for clinical terminology (highly desirable)
  • Proven track record of working business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Proven track record of production of key documentation and artefacts such as scoping studies, process and workflow diagrams, gap analyses, change impact assessments, and SWOT analyses.
  • Experience of running workshops
  • Experience of working with recognised Agile or iterative development methodologies
  • Experience of Agile documentation including Backlogs, Customer Journeys, Use Cases, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria
  • Experience of variety of requirements elicitation techniques (prototyping workshops, interviews, observation, etc)
  • Ability to analyse functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Ability to act as a sounding board for customers and provide evidence-based and rational recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with internal and external customers with technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Experience of working in a geographically distributed delivery team
  • Experience of the full project lifecycle and a good understanding of project roles / activities required for successful delivery.
  • Proficient with core Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
  • Proficient with remote working tools (Microsoft Teams)
