Development Lead - Scotland - salary DOE - BESS, and Solar (mainly BESS)Piper Maddox are currently working with a utility scale solar energy and battery storage system development company. They specialise in the assessment and preparation of sites around the world, for the construction of primarily solar energy assets, however,for their Scottish division they are seeking someone mainly wanting to cover BESS.The company has so far completed over 850MW of projects around the world, providing the best sites for the development of these assets in the continued push towards a Net-Zero future.The company is currently looking to bring a Scottish Development Lead into their team to head up their pipeline of BESS projects, and 1 solar project. Your responsibilities will include site feasibility assessments, the writing and reviewing of planning applications,and the management of relevant stakeholders.You would be working closely with the existing UK team where the sharing of ideas and experience is heavily encouraged. The team at this company are supportive while also being driven to produce high quality projects.Within this role, you will need to be experienced with the planning application process and the stakeholder management that goes hand in hand with this. Past experience with the environmental impact assessment processes as well as the ability to adapt to differenttypes of renewable energy projects are key. Someone who just understands project management out and out!Taking up this role at this company would allow you to join a team of friendly and experienced project management professionals. You would have the opportunity to get stuck into a wide range of exciting DCO projects currently in progress as well as being involvedin the upcoming pipeline of projects!
