Company - Market leader, Energy Efficient Renewables and Heat PumpsLocation - Edinburgh (Work from home 3 days per week)Package - £30k - £38k + bonusCandidate - Estimation, quote, design, diagram interpretation, advise, office experience or practical experience ideally with industry qualifications such has air conditoning and heat pumps, heating or plumbing e.g. G3, Unvented Hot Waterand City and Guilds.The RoleLeading national provider of Energy Efficient Renewables and heat pumps seeks an office based Design Engineer to run their project processes from technical advice to quoting, designing, estimating and specifying. You will be engaging with the top industrymanufacturers, ordering the most appropriate equipment with a focus on Air Source Heat Pumps and Air to Water Heat Pumps depending on your experience and working alongside them to ensure that major renewable heating projects are delivered on time and accordingto the project requirements.Experience RequiredDue to the nature of the role you must have a successful background of estimating, designing and quoting residential plumbing and/or heating projects requiring heat pumps. It will be ideal if you can interpret technical schematics, plumbing layouts, wiringdiagrams and if you are up to date on current industry water regulations. The role is predominantly office based project interfacing with end clients and the sales teams but there may be some surveys or site visits required.
