Description:They are moving to a whole new pensions system. As the migration goes on, they still need to produce letters to customers, and the contract states that they must stay the same in format. This creates additional complexity but is necessary due to contractualobligations. The go-live date is Feb, and the letter production is paramount to the go-live.They need to produce numerous types of letters with various different headers. These headers and different letter types use 100s of different data types, that all use different data models. The system that manages these data models uses an XSD and XML tomanage the data, and then uses xpression to manage the documents. They have been asked to not change any of the letter formats (contractual obligation as agreed), so must be kept the exact same for every letter.Use FUSE middleware for the actual coding. The challenge/gap is people who can look at the xsds, look at the xpression letters and work out the data mapping for each of these letters. The BA must have extensive life & pensions experience as they must know the practical realities of the life & pensions industry. Ie, knowing what to look out for in the data mapping an ensure its not unrealistic ie sending letters when people have passedaway already. These letters have already been produced largely but there are extensive defects and this is where the support is primarily needed. They need to (in conjunction with other teams) go letter-by-letter, identify defects and work with other teams to resolvethem. They need to double the defect resolution number per week (couldnt remember exact numbers but knew they need to double).Day-to-day responsibilities:Picking up the XSDShape queries and questions to the XCM representativeWork with xpression people to understand what they are asking for in the lettersMarry up the XCM and xpression and understand what they need to change in the data modelUnderstand implications of changes they make to other lettersSkills:
