Job Description

Cypress Test Engineer - Remote / Edinburgh - 6 Month ContractOur Public Sector client are currently recruiting for a Cypress Test Engineer to join on a 6 month initial contract, outside of IR35.The successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:

  • Experienced in building and maintaining test automation frameworks
  • Significant commercial experience with the following technology:
    • NodeJS and/or TypeScript
    • The Cypress JavaScript framework
    • The Jest JavaScript framework
    • REST APIs
  • Experience with version control systems, e.g., GitLab/GitHub
  • Enthusiastic about making excellent quality products with other people.
  • Working with the business, to understand the context, and to focus on delivering quality and value.
