Customer Service Manager - Floor & Wall Panels Job Title: Customer Service Manager - Floor & Wall Panels Industry Sector: Customer Service, Customer Service Manager, Contact Centre, Wall & Floor Panels, Panelling, Laminates, Panel Systems, Building Boards, Construction, Construction Products, Building Products, Vinyl Floors, Interior Cladding Systems, WaterproofPanels, Tiles, National Merchants, Independent Merchants, Buying Groups, Trade, RetailLocation: Edinburgh (office based M-T 8:30-5:00 Fridays 8:30-4:00)Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000neg (dependent on experience)Benefits: 30 Days Holiday (Incl Bank Holidays) (Pension, Health Shield, Work Phone & Laptop) The role of the Customer Service Manager - Floor & Wall Panels will involve:

  • Customer Service Manager position focusing on coaching and developing a team of 18 customer service specialist & advisors
  • Manage the running of inbound & outbound activity; returns, complaints handling, reporting and quality checking
  • Carry out regular 1-2-1’s and motivate the customer service team to ensure a pro-active service nature
  • Offer leadership and actively engage in the development of your team to increase performance, efficiency and succession planning
  • Oversee all service functions and encourage consistent and effective communication throughout the team
  • Identify and apply practices, processes and systems to create and drive an environment of continuous improvement
  • Assess and manage any service escalations as required
  • Create and present daily, weekly or monthly reports to senior management upon request from company systems data
  • Design and contribute to projects that impact customer services and support their implementation
The ideal applicant will be a Customer Service Manager - Floor & Wall Panels with:
  • Must have management experience within a customer service environment
  • Must be a people person able to maintain relationships, motivate staff and communicate effectively
  • Experience in the KBB sector would be beneficial however not essential
  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Previous experience with Epicor would be advantageous
