Job Description

In collaboration with Diligenta, Tate Recruitment are looking for an outstanding Customer Service Administrator in the Edinburgh area. Customers have relied on Standard life for nearly 200 years to manage their retirement needs and life savings. StandardLife is now part of Diligenta, a Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) subsidiary based in the UK that is FCA regulated and specialised in offering business process services to their life and pension sector.Currently, they offer services to millions of policy holders who contact them directly, through advisers or through the pension plan offered by their company. They take great satisfaction in continually providing outstanding customer service.We are currently recruiting for numerous start dates in October, November and December, all with the potential to lead to a permanent position.This vacancy requires you to work in the office full time, Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:00) within Diligentas modern office, Standard Life House which is located on Lothian Road EH1 2DH. The office is easily accessible via public transport.Role responsibilities include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to all policy holders.
  • Ensuring that all policy holders receive first- rate customer service throughout their interactions with Diligenta.
  • Give every customer timely, attentive treatment to guarantee they have a pleasant experience with customer service.
  • Accept responsibility for client issues, resolving them at the first point of contact and raising them if required.
  • Monitoring a mailbox that might contain correspondence from coworkers or policy holders.
  • Collaborating with many departments and teams to come up with a solution for the policy holders.
  • Maintaining a profession attitude while liaising with consumers or other members of staff.
  • Take ownership of the duties you are given and keep an eye on activity.
  • Assisting policy holders with any questions they may have about their policy. This can be done via phone, email or regular mail.
