Job Description

Customer Care ProfessionalOverview:Our client is a well-known, diverse destination management and travel company with offices in the UK and Ireland. They are looking for a Customer Care Professional to take care of their French speaking customers from their Edinburgh office.Benefits and pay range:

  • £26, 000 - £30,000 dependent on experience. Full Time, Permanent position
  • Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm
  • Edinburgh based with hybrid/blended option available
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Customer service for client groups at the highest standard, including timely communication and documentation
  • Relationship development and management - with clients, suppliers and guides
  • Using Tourplan to develop proposals and accounting processes for trips
  • Client visits and trade shows as necessary
  • Periodic out of hours emergency phone coverage
  • Cover support in other groups and department if the need arises
  • Support with the supervision of any staff/trainees assigned to the area
  • Assisting with environmental and responsible tourism initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Fluency in French and English
  • A good knowledge of the UK-wide inbound tourism industry products
  • Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Knowledge of Tourplan/experience in destination management is an advantage, but not essential
