Commissioned Services Manager This role requires someone to have experience of commercially supporting a care home/ nursing home or health and social care business. Must have come from a regulated environment, or CQC environment.Up to £55,000Based in Scotland, commutable from Glasgow, Inverness, Fife, Aberdeen, EdinburghDue to the nature of the role, you will need to have:Experience of contract management from either provider or commissioning side, social care service development experience, or experience of providing or commissioning careRegistered Nurse educated to degree level or equivalent experience in nursing or social work environment.Excellent, confident verbal and written communication skills.Concise and accurate record-keeping skills and the ability to interpret information and report back.Knowledge of CQC Regulations and Legislation and how this applies to Care Homes.Ability to identify root causes of issues and remains focused on their resolution.Good IT skills.Formal project management skills and or/ Clinical skills and the use of medical devices.Experience of working in Care with Vulnerable AdultsPrevious experience in managing projectsWorked across various local authority areas.RoleAchieve company goals and assisting with becoming a household name in terms of being a care provider, ensure top choice for providing care for commissioners of care in all of the relevant care home communities.To partner and build relationships with local authorities as well as NHS Commissioners in the given geographical area in order to attract and secure top-tier funding and align our care offering with the local demand for care.To help and assist our operational colleagues (home managers and area directors) with building the right relationships at the local level and to help negotiate and renegotiate contracts, access care pathways, contribute to service developments and ensurewe are represented at all levels from forums with the Director of Social Care to local provider forums and care associations.Annual fee uplift discussions and negotiations with public sector commissioners to secure the best increase.Drafting Tenders to win new business.Review contracts for operational deliverability and financial return.
