To lead & manage an in-house multi skilled building services team. Accountable for the effective management for daily operations aligned to the technical service side of the FM department. To ensure that all aspects of building services and associated maintenanceactivity is carried out in line with SFG20 framework as well as supporting conditional maintenance activity. This ownership structure has allowed them to keep their efforts focused entirely on their clients and their investments.DescriptionResponsibile for the effective operational status of all buildings ensuring they are fit for occupation and all Building Services/FM systems are maintained in line with the relevant frameworks.Other assignments listed below: -* Supervisory duty for Building Services engineers workload for both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks* Planning rotas providing cover for sickness and holidays etc and cascading information across the team. Reactiveplanned maintenance activity with a focus on first fix attendance* Building services inspections and assisting with Insurance inspections* Ability to provide installation support from, new sockets, data points, containment, new light fittings withincommercial environments as well as domestic style areas* Health & Safety tasks, identifying any gaps in departmental knowledge* Interaction and daily management of Hard Services CAFM system, BEMS, Lighting, BMS, SMART, SCADA, EPMS* Management of visiting contractors to conduct reactive, preventative and helpdesk activity, ensuring the highestquality of workmanship is provided* Taking the lead on technical tasks and routine maintenance activity for our sites* Procurement of technical spares as and when needed, trialling of new technologies* Support on-site small to medium size refurb works* Involvement in significant events throughout the year e.g., shutdowns, blackout testing, critical plant testing andmaintenance* Deputise for Line Manager when necessary* Operational management of contracts and ensuring quality assurance from engaged contractors.
