Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our Accounting & Finance team in Edinburgh. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the financial aspects of a business.Client DetailsOur client is a respected leader in the professional services industry, employing over 200 staff across various locations.   • Accurately recording all financial transactions
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations
  • Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts
  • Assisting with budget preparation and control
  • Ensuring compliance with financial legislation and regulations
  • Working closely with the finance team to improve financial processes
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Providing administrative support as required
ProfileA successful Bookkeeper should have:
  • Relevant educational qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
