Area Sales Manager - Roofing SystemsJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Roofing & Building ProductsIndustry Sector: Roofing, Construction Products, Building Products, Roofing Merchants, Roofing Products, Roofing Membrane, Roofing Ventilation, Breathable Membranes, Weatherproofing, Ridge Tiles, Builders Merchants, Roofing Merchants, National Merchants,House Builders, Housebuilder, Developers, Housing, Specification, Specification Sales, ArchitectsArea to be covered: ScotlandRemuneration: £40,000 + uncapped commission giving OTE £70,000+Benefits: hybrid or electric company car & benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Roofing & Building Products will involve:

  • Area Sales Manager position selling a high quality manufactured range of pitch roofing systems, walling membranes, insulation membranes, easy roof systems, roofing tapes, resin and membranes
  • 60-70% of your time will be spent getting specified via house builders, developers & contractors
  • The remaining 30-40% will be spent back selling through roofing & builders merchants such as: SIG, Burtons and Rinus
  • Will be expected to turnover circa £1m+
  • Dealing with a wide range of project size from a single house extension to a 2,500 developer plot
  • Covering a territory which will incorporate the South East & London
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Roofing & Building Products with:
  • Must have field sales experience in the roofing market sector ideally pitched roofing however would consider flat roofing
  • Must have experience dealing with / selling to house builders, developers and contractors
  • Genuine get up and go, hungry and desire to earn excellent commissions
  • Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
