Our client is seeking a bright and articulate Applications Manager to aid thier Lettings team.They have an ambitious growth plan for thier business and need ambitious people to match.The role will be based at the head office, in Edinburgh.The PersonThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the handling of tenant applications, referencing and deposit releases.The role will require someone with high attention to detail to ensure all tenants complete the relevant checks in the required timeframe.The candidate will also be liaising with tenants, guarantors and landlords and building positive client relationships always ensuring a high level of customer services is always adhered to.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing property investment and management company where new opportunities are available should you wish to build a successful career.Responsibilities• Responsible for processing new tenant applications & referencing in a timely manner, therefore minimising fall-through potential• Ensure tight deadlines are adhered to, minimising time property is off the market• Guide tenants through application requirements • Ensure all checks are complete and meet minimum conditions for acceptance•EnsureRight to Rent’ checks are complete• Making the correct deductions from the tenants deposit at end of tenancy • Communicating with tenants through both processes• Submitting evidence when required to Safe Deposit Scotland and Tenant Deposit SchemeSalary and Benefits•Salary of £25,000 plus bonus opportunities 22 days holiday rising to 25 days after 5 years’ service. 8 Statutory days, 4 of which can be taken outside of the bank holidays.• You will be a part of an exciting, constantly evolving award winning business
