Engineers needed to help make the Green Revolution happen!The Committee on Climate Change estimates that 18% of heat needs to come from heat networks by 2050, if the UK is to meet its zero carbon ambition.Heat Networks are a method of transferring heat from a source to end users via hydronics. The heat source could be waste heat from industrial processes, IT data centres or the London Underground; or centralised plant with Combined Heat and Power engines, Heat Pumps, Gas and Electric boilers working together in response to changing weather conditions and grid carbon intensity.SAV Systems is a UK market leader in providing and supporting energy efficient Heating & Ventilation solutions. SAV Systems is seeking degree level engineers to undertake heat network design from the plant to the dwelling via the application of Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics. Responsibilities include: Specifying heat network temperatures, selecting appropriate Heat Interface Units (HIUs), sizing distribution pipework, selecting and sizing equipment for hybrid mechanical plant. This role offers tangible professional and career development.Key Responsibilities:Office Based.To actively and professionally manage prospecting, arrange appointments, prepare proposals and presentations for new and existing projects.To build, manage and maintain the opportunity pipeline and to ensure that all activity is accurately documented and kept up to update in the CRM system.To ensure all work is of a high professional standard and adheres to policies, procedures and guidelines at all times.To respond to enquires, RFQs, technical & project support and any other requests for information.Work in partnership with Account Managers to ensure each opportunity transitions professionally and seamlessly from product support to business development.Key Skills & Experience:Numerate and literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to deliver clear and concise ideas to internal and external stakeholders.Analytical with the ability to interpret information and data quickly and effectively.Excellent planning skills.Proactive and highly organised with strong time management.
