Job Description

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work in a busy recruitment office, providing administration support to the firms Pre-employment Screening team. This is initially a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with possibility of extension. Therole is hybrid working, with two days working in the clients busy city centre office and 3 days from home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into a recruitment career, with one of the leading recruitment agenciesin their field.Main PurposeTo provide administration support to the Pre-employment Screening (PES) team to ensure all necessary pre-employment screening and compliance checks are conducted within agreed timescales and in line with client policies and procedures, as well as relevantlegislation.Main Responsibilities

  • Managing PES team mailbox to ensure all incoming emails are actioned and cleared daily
  • Send PES requests to new contractors, asking them to complete any relevant client documentation prior to their start date
  • Liaising with candidates via telephone and email in relation to their Screening application and providing an end to end process within the agreed sla of the client
  • To record any new offers on the Company database and team tracker
  • Overseeing Applications and processing to the company database system
  • Manage PES completion requests via third party systems, mainly Fieldglass, ensuring that the status is updated before due date and the agreed client SLAs are meet.
  • Where required assist the PES screener with conducting all necessary checks including Identification checks, sanctions, credit checks and criminal record checks in accordance with the clients requirements
  • To chase any missing documentation via telephone and email
  • To liaise with Consultants/Account Managers regarding the progress and completion of pre-employment screening.
  • To produce timely and accurate management reporting upon request meeting SLA and KPI
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Manager.
Required Qualifications & Expertise
  • Basic compliance or quality assurance experience would be preferred
  • Basic knowledge of recruitment would be at an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role
  • Good general level of education
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite of tools including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good time management and organisation skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise own workload.
