Job Description

Account ManagerOverview:Our client is an established and fast-growing Destination Management company with offices in the UK and Ireland. They are looking for an energetic Account Manager to take over a maternity leave contract - for the right person, this has the strong potentialto turn into a permanent position!Benefits and pay range:

  • Up to £30,000 dependent on experience. Full Time, 8-month contract.
  • Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm
  • Edinburgh based with hybrid/blended option available
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • To undertake accurate client reservations in an efficient and a focused manner
  • Relationship building and management with prospective and existing clients
  • Business development, company information updates, and working with Tourplan reservation system
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to support in quoting programmes and rates to existing and new clients
  • Hotel and service reservations, maintaining strong supplier relationships
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A good knowledge of the UK-wide inbound tourism industry products, with knowledge of VIP/luxury accounts desirable
  • Fluency in French would be an advantage, but not necessary
  • Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
