Job Description

Our Client, a leading car manufacturer are currently looking for a Service Manager to join their business based out of their Edgware Dealership.As a Service Manager, youll play a key role in progressing the business by meeting targets alongside the management team. Youll inspire your team to make every customers experience at the dealership exceptional. With experience you will require strong leadershipskills and have the ability to implement change to take the dealership to new heights.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join a very well-established business and great brand looking to grow their OTE and knowledge of Hybrid technology.About the role* Be involved directly with customers on a daily basis.* Manage everyone within the service department* Train and motivate staff to deliver the best possible service to make our customers happy.* Resolve all customer complaints by following team procedures and regain customer satisfaction.* Establish and agree targets for the Service Advisors to ensure everyone is aligned to their responsibilities and personal development.* Appraise & Coach the team to maximise their potential and the departments success.* Monitor the daily financial performance of the department and take corrective action when needed* Monitor and maintain effective cost control for the department* Control the invoicing procedure to ensure accuracy on all job costs* Maintain appropriate staff levels to manage the department effectively including overtime and holiday to minimise department impact* Present at internal meetings, providing updates to Senior Management on the department performance, target results and future plans* Carry out other duties when needed at the Centre* Review key KPIs with all Service Advisors daily* Contribute towards the improvement of processes creating a seamless process for the centre and staffAbout you* Experience working in a Main Dealer environment* Be an experienced Service Manager* Hold a full UK driving licence* Thrive under pressure* Have a desire to succeed* Be able to lead from the front and the ability to manage a departmentAbout the company* Excellent basic salary and bonus scheme* Ability to progress through internal promotion* Excellent benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and car leasing schemes* Flexible progression based on your career aspirations* Manufacturer based trainingAbout Our ClientOur client is a leading car automotive dealership in the UK specialising in Japanese brands, they currently employ over 500 people across 11 retail dealerships and are looking to expand even further.Whats nextIf youre an automotive professional looking for a role with realistic career progression within a business that promotes positive change and development, then this is the role for you.
