Main Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but are not restricted to:Financial Leadership:- Provide strategic financial guidance to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).- Manage the annual external audit process.- Develop and implement financial policies, prodedures and internal controls to safeguard the charities assets.- Manage the annual budgeting process and provide regular financial reports to support decision-making.- Oversee the submission of accurate payroll data each month.- Conduct financial analysis to assess the financial health of the charity and identify areas for improvement.- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overall organisational goals.- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, contractual and legal requirements.- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing strategies to safeguard the charities financial interests.- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for the Principal, SLT and Board of Governors.- Explore and implement opportunities for revenue generation and cost-saving initiatives.- Develop the knowledge and skills of Managers from across the College in matters relating to finance, budgeting and Enterprise opportunities.- Lead all fee setting and invoice issuing activities for all fee-charging contracts.
