Job Description

Position - Team Leader, Children and Young PeopleEmployment type - PermanentLocation - Ebbw Vale, WalesSalary - £31,750 p.a.Hours - 40 per week, working 24 hours shifts. Typical shift pattern is 8am to 8am on a 3-week rolling rota; week one: Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Week two: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday. They work alongside multi agencies to access the very best help for their children and ensure their staffare highly trained and constantly developed.About the role - As a Team Leader, you and your team, will deliver emotional and therapeutic support to the children in your care. Duties include ensuring the quality of support is in line with company procedures and industry regulationsby overseeing and mentoring RCWs, carrying out supervisions, compiling paperwork with great attention to detail and use the companys IT system to maintain records and report write. You will be heavily involved in staff training, as well as delivering handson support to residents. Home size is 6 and 4 bed and the two homes situated very close together in this area.Qualifications and Experience required - We are looking for stable and physically fit individuals with a similar back ground, who are passionate about leading a team of RCWs and delivering high quality care.
