Job Description

Based at their site in Ebbw Vale South Wales, the successful applicant will carry out quality inspection and quality engineering duties utilising laboratory equipment to ensure manufacture of product to meet customer specifications and delivery date.Client DetailsThe client produces a FMCG product which is supplied into the medical sector.Description

  • Investigate and support other departments in the investigation of customer complaints, CAPAs & NCs
  • Carry out QC testing on production
  • Assist the Product Development & Engineering teams to ensure all product development & validations are carried out to the required standard.
  • Facilitate FMEA & root cause analysis activities as required
  • Review and amend QMS documentation e.g. procedures, WIs, Test Methods as required
  • Lead or facilitate CAPA projects as required and coach Team leaders on CAPA process
  • Carry out test method validation activities
  • Deputise for the Quality & Regulatory Manager as required
  • Use quality tools & techniques e.g. root cause analysis, DoE
Profile
  • Has a background in medical / pharmaceutical / Automotive / aeronautical engineering
  • Has the ability to self-manage time and workload
  • Good communication skills, both written & oral
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Able to investigate and support other departments in the investigation of customer complaints, CAPAs & NCs
  • Ability to carry out QC testing on production
  • Experience of FMEA & root cause analysis activities
  • Carry out test method validation activities
  • Deputise for the Quality & Regulatory Manager as required
  • Use of quality tools & techniques e.g. root cause analysis, DoE
  • Statistical analysis methodology
