Job Description

Primary TeacherSalary: £157.66 - £200/dayLocation: Ebbw ValeJob Type: Full-timeReed is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our client in Ebbw Vale, a specialist provision for children aged 5 to 11 who are unable to attend mainstream school due to a variety of reasons including but not limited to behavioural, emotional and socialdifficulties (BESD). This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children who require additional support to thrive in their educational journey.Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs and interests of learners with SEMH/BESD.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of staff, parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and engage in continuous professional development.
  • Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH/BESD or similar needs.
  • A positive and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • A willingness to engage in learning and professional growth.
