Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist you will work to improve the occupational lives of men and women from diverse backgrounds who are challenged by a range of mental health conditions.If so, join our team at Hillview Hospital which has recently been acquired by Elysium Healthcare and is on a transformational journey.Working 37.5 hours a week, you will have experience in managing a designated caseload, using theoretical knowledge and practical experience to assess service users needs and to plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions. You will design and implement a therapeutic programme which focus on empowering recovery and independence through least restrictive practice. Opportunities for service users at Hillview Hospital include a range of work and vocational roles.With a strong emphasis on teamwork, youll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of online and CPD training courses to support you in reaching your career goals.This role involves:

  • Completing assessments, planning sessions and implementing interventions.
  • Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans
  • Supervise Activity Coordinator
  • Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to support the care plans
To be successful in this role:
  • Current HPC registration and RCOT membership
  • Experience of working within a similar setting
